Refund & Dispute Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Versic's Role
Versic is a technology platform and venue that lets independent sellers list and deliver digital audio products. Versic is not the merchant of record and is not a party to any sale. The seller is the merchant of record for every transaction and is solely responsible for the product, its licensing, fulfillment, refunds, and any chargebacks or disputes.
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect using direct charges on the seller's own Standard connected account. The seller bears the Stripe processing fee, and Versic takes no commission or cut on sales. Because the seller is the merchant, the seller decides and issues any refund. Versic only facilitates the request and relays it.
2. Digital Goods Are Final Sale
Products sold on Versic are instant-delivery digital audio files, including samples, tracks, beat packs, sound kits, and mixtapes. Access and download are granted immediately upon successful payment. Because the product is delivered and downloadable the moment you pay, all sales are generally final and non-refundable.
This is the same "final sale" language presented at checkout, where buyers acknowledge that digital purchases are final except in the limited cases described below. Please preview any available demo and read the product description carefully before buying.
3. When We Facilitate Support
Despite the final-sale rule, Versic will facilitate a support request to the seller in a few limited situations. These are a duplicate or accidental charge for the same product; a file that is genuinely broken, corrupted, or fails to download or unzip; or a product that is materially not as described on its listing at the time of purchase.
Buyer's remorse, a change of mind, lack of compatibility with your own setup, or simply not liking the sound after download do not qualify. A material misdescription means the delivered files differ in a substantive, verifiable way from what the listing promised, not a difference of subjective taste.
4. How to Request Help
To request help, contact us at support@versic.app within fourteen (14) days of your purchase. Please include your order or receipt reference, the product name, and a clear description of the problem, along with any screenshots or error messages for a broken or failed download.
Versic will pass your request to the seller and help coordinate a resolution. We cannot guarantee an outcome, because the final decision rests with the seller as the merchant of record. Requests made after the fourteen-day window may not be eligible for facilitation.
5. Who Decides and Issues Refunds
The seller, as the merchant of record, decides whether to grant a refund and issues it directly through Stripe on their connected account. Versic does not hold the funds, does not issue refunds on the seller's behalf, and does not override a seller's decision. Our role is limited to relaying the request, providing transaction context, and encouraging a fair and timely resolution.
6. What Happens to Access on a Full Refund
If a full refund is issued, your entitlement to the product is revoked. Your download access on Versic will be removed, and you must delete all copies of the refunded files from your devices and storage. Continuing to use, copy, or distribute files after a full refund is unauthorized and may infringe the seller's rights.
7. Partial and Courtesy Refunds
A seller may, at their discretion, offer a partial or courtesy refund, for example to make good on a minor issue while you keep the product. A partial or courtesy refund does not necessarily revoke your access or your license to use the files. The seller will state whether your entitlement continues. If you are unsure, ask the seller or contact support@versic.app.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Because charges run directly on the seller's Stripe account, a chargeback or payment dispute is handled between you, your card issuer, the seller, and Stripe. If you believe a charge is genuinely wrong, please contact support@versic.app first so we can help resolve it quickly, which is usually faster than a formal dispute.
Opening a chargeback for a product you received and used, when no qualifying problem exists, is considered fraudulent. Filing a fraudulent chargeback may result in revocation of access to the disputed product, suspension of your Versic account, and recovery of associated costs. The seller, not Versic, will respond to the dispute with Stripe.
9. Effect of a Chargeback on Access
If a chargeback reverses your payment in full, your entitlement is treated the same as a full refund. Your access on Versic is revoked and you must delete all copies of the disputed files. If a chargeback is later resolved in the seller's favor and the charge stands, access may be restored at the seller's discretion.
10. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are expected to describe products accurately, deliver working files, and respond to support requests in good faith and within a reasonable time. Sellers are solely responsible for their own taxes, including sales tax, VAT, and income tax, and for honoring the refund and licensing terms they present to buyers. Versic may step in to facilitate but does not assume the seller's obligations.
11. Contact
For any refund, broken-file, or dispute question, contact us at support@versic.app. We will respond as quickly as we can and help coordinate with the seller. For legal questions about these terms, you can reach us at legal@versic.app.
